How’s the Market???
 
  • Sales were down -35% between the months of July and August.
 
  • Average sales price is $1,375,000, down from $1,550,000 in July in South Surrey / White Rock.
 
  • It’s a BUYER’S MARKET  with 51 out of 628 homes selling in the past month (8%) in South Surrey/ White Rock. Down from 14% from last month.
 
  • This month, the most ACTIVE  band of activity of detached houses are the ones priced between $800,000 – $1,000,000 (26% selling ratio). Down from 31% last month.
 
  • SLOWEST  selling areas are Elgin/ Chantrell and White Rock (BUYER’s BEST BET).  In these neighbourhoods, only 4% sold.  Down from 9% last month.
 
  • FASTEST selling area is OCEAN PARK/ Crescent Beach (SELLER’S BEST BET), with a balanced 14% selling rate (16 out of 115).
 
  • 16 out of 115 Ocean Park/ Crescent Beach Homes Sold this past month.
